Welcome to The Data Stack Show PRQL. This is a short bonus episode where we preview the upcoming show, you’ll get to meet our guests and hear about the topics we’re going to cover. If they’re interesting to you, you can catch the full length show when it drops on Wednesday. Welcome back to The Data Stack Show. We have a special episode for you today with gist, The Data Stack Show team, we actually invited Matt Keller, her Gibson, also known by his stage name, the cynical data guy on to the show, in large part because he and I have been working on a ton of LLM projects internally at RudderStack. And, of course, we want to make the world a better place by putting another podcast out on the year that discusses AI and MLMs. So we’re doing our part, we’re doing our part. Yes on that. But lots of interesting things to discuss. Matt, what are you what’s on your mind? We have some topics to discuss. But what’s on your mind?

Matthew Kelliher-Gibson 01:02
I think just talking about kind of where we are with MLMs in general. And you know, there’s a lot of takeaways about the hype of it, but also kind of what’s the reality and where is it still? What’s difficult? What are the actual use cases for? Yep.

Eric Dodds 01:14
John?

John Wessel 01:15
Yeah, I think in addition to i, we talked about this on a previous episode of what I like to call single player mode versus multiplayer mode, and it’d be interesting to explore again, what are we seeing in single player mode, which is like, Oh, look at this cool thing I can do. Yep. And then like, what is it truly to have something in production in an app with yet hundreds or 1000s? You know, people using it simultaneously? Is there not the same problem, right?

Eric Dodds 01:40
Yep. Yep. I love it. All right. Well, let’s dig in. That’s a wrap for the PRQL. The full length episode will drop Wednesday morning. Subscribe now so you don’t miss it.
