Welcome to The Data Stack Show prequel. This is a short bonus episode where we preview the upcoming show. You’ll get to meet our guests and hear about the topics we’re going to cover. If they’re interesting to you, you can catch the full length show when it drops on Wednesday.

John Wessel 00:22
All right, welcome to The Data Stack Show. We’re here today with Kostas. Welcome back to the show. I think I can say that we’re thrilled to have you on. And tell us a little bit about your background. And I used to come on the show today.

Kostas Pardalis 00:36
Yeah, thank you so much. It’s, it’s, it’s a very unique experience for me to be asked by first time as the guest of the show has been so far, one of the posts. So I’m thrilled. I don’t know how it will go. But we have a lot of things to talk about the show itself. Hopefully, we’ll come up with some very funny moments of like, what happened in the past three years here with the whole team, reveal a little bit about what it takes like to produce. So talk about like, the value why people do that. I think it’s one of the things that we haven’t really talked that much, me and Derek, like, why we keep doing this. And we’ll say We’ll improvise a little bit. I think it’s going to be fine. It’s going to be different, but it’s going to be a lot of fun. Yeah,

John Wessel 01:34
maybe some behind the scenes takes beat the test.

Eric Dodds 01:40
He didn’t even talk about what you’ve learned, after three years of interviewing, you know, all sorts of data professionals cost. So maybe you don’t want to talk about that. Is that too difficult? I mean, emotionally, no.

Kostas Pardalis 01:54
Like, you know, like, spending so much time with like, one of the best like, go to markets person was that like, no, that’s you, Eric. Oh, I don’t want like to produce an episode where, you know, like, people will just listen to that they will learn everything, like the best thing they can do. Like goes through all of like, the 300 episodes. Oh, that’s true. This so much knowledge and they’re like, I don’t want and fun. Also, it’s just moments, right? Like to ruin that experience. So I’ll share a little bit but I’ll keep it more of a teaser level, I’m sure. My beloved audience, I’ll talk to you a little bit but trust me, it’s for your own good.

Eric Dodds 02:37
Now that is a master that is a Master of Marketing, right. Now, all right, well, let’s let’s dig in and reflect on a couple years of doing the data stack show.

Kostas Pardalis 02:50

Eric Dodds 02:52
